Lacking the state of mind required to do a thoughtful post, I shall now write a stupid poem about elephants.
Elephants are big, they say.
They’re bigger than your face.
They’re smaller than a planet, though,
And can’t survive in space.Elephants are grey, they say.
They’re whiter than the night.
Yet blacker than the falling snow,
And nowhere near as bright.Elephants are tough, they say.
They’re tougher than a fly.
Unless that fly is huge, you know,
And equally as sly.Elephants are shrewd, they say.
They never do forget.
If that is true, then I should go
Before these words upset.
Have a happy new year, everyone!
Bene scribete.
Funny.. And yes, don’t piss off the Elephants! :)
Perhaps for the best. (>^-‘)>
Elephants are big, they say.
They’re bigger than your face.
I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of that part.
Why am I not surprised? (>^-‘)>
I love this! Made me laugh, and it’s much more than a silly poem – to me it’s a reminder that writing doesn’t have to be serious and hard work – this RADIATES fun:-)
Hehe, well thanks a bunch!
I do not think this Poem lacks thought or intellect as said in the first line. It was fun, and very true. Hope no elephants got pissed by the writing of this poem though.. :)
Well, thank you. (>^-‘)> I suppose I should hope so as well!
